Boot to ball at AFL gala day

27/06/2008 11:45:00 AM
Schools from across the region took part in an AFL gala day at Rose Point Park in Singleton on Wednesday.

Muswellbrook South Public School represented Muswellbrook at the event.

The students had one objective - to score as many goals by kicking the ball between the middle two posts as possible.

Players used their bodies to advance the ball around the field.

There was plenty of kicking, handballing and running with the ball.

The day saw the students develop new skills and promoted participation in Australian rules football by children.
