Hands-on recycling lesson for littlies

20/06/2008 12:14:00 PM
CHILDREN at Muswellbrook Pre-School Kindergarten learnt all about recycling this week as part of a fun, interactive presentation.

Catherine Whatson from Muswellbrook Shire Council visited the youngsters on Tuesday, teaching them all about being more environmentally friendly at home and what to put in which bin. The children also enjoyed a fun colouring-in activity, had a chance to show Ms Whatson the pre-school’s worm farm and learnt about how rain is made.
